Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni - 20

Go Shion Go Shion Go! So the Shion ass whooping continues (you all go to hell and you die! literally). This really solves a lot of my questions from the Watanagashi arc. It begins with Shion being on the phone with Keiichi confusing the hell out of him. The funny part [...]

Infinite Ryvius

Infinite Ryvius has been described as “Lord of the Flies” meets “Hunt for Red October” in space, which really doesn’t meet anything to this philistine since I haven’t see either work. Nonetheless, having been assured by these same reviews that there would be high drama and deep characterisations, I plunged into it with high expectations [...]

Short Hiatus

I’ll be out of town till next week, so there probably won’t be any updates from me until Tuesday or Wednesday or so. Other than like if a second season of Haruhi gets announced or something.Sorta speaking of which, I was wondering: why do fans often call for sequels of titles they like? [...]

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni #19 - What a Twist!

M. Night Whoever has nothing on this.So Mr. Caliburn’s prediction is correct. Shion takes over Mion’s life, committing all the murders as her twin sister. This explains a whole lot, mainly Ooishi’s zombie theory. I can’t help but think, “what a twist!”This episode clears pretty much everything that was shrouded in mystery [...]

Daily bits

I seriously love that Os decided to tag his linkage page as “Free Pr0n links”. It’s been there for awhile now but I still find it funny. Hee. I know I’m easily amused. Of course, I was initially disappointed by the lack of, well, you know… Damn, false advertising. [...]

Kamichu 12

I decided to pick up this series after it was mentioned by Omni but has Matthew has blogged it (there are still four DVD-only eps that weren’t covered though) and I don’t have a real character focus, I’m just going to go fanboy over one of the series’ supporting characters - the gorgeous and foxy [...]

Learning to read kana

Hey people. I'm aware that a lot of people that are into anime, are either learning, or want to learn japanese. A crucial part to this, and probably the easist first step, is learning to read both Hiragana and Katakana, collectively refered to as "kana".
