Zettai Karen Children - Anime First Impressions

For some reason I thought Zettai Karen Children was some kind of sequel to Zettai Shounen, but apparently it's its own series. The second mistake was that I thought Karen was a character in this show, but "??" can mean both pitiful and lovely, which actually describes these kids pretty well.

Episode of the Week:

Druaga no To - The Aegis of Uruk - 01

This was a bit of a hard choice this week since for the most part it was a competition between which new show had the best first episode. Now, I?ll remind you that this isn?t an award for what show I?m looking forward to watching the most or what show I think I?ll end up liking the most, but which had the best first episode.

I felt that Druaga deserved this. When it first came out there were so many people just ranting about how hilarious and awesome of a first episode this had. Now, it?s unsure of whether or not this kind of greatness will carry on to the rest of the series, and it?s a bit doubtful it will but as far as an individual episode goes, this was amazing. I still loved the tentacle bit?.JUST KEEP WATCHING!

Allison and Lillia - First Impressions

This was pretty interesting. I wasn?t too sure what this would be about, in fact the reason I picked it up was because it seemed to have a unique two stories in one thing going on. However even without that, even if its just Allison and Will it still seems interesting enough. At least the story seems interesting and unique enough to make the show worth watching so I?m looking forward to more from this show.

Of course, I wouldn?t be myself if I didn?t mention the fact that I want romance in this show. There is obviously something that could develop between Allison and Wil. Although Will seems to be rather oblivious, it seems that Allison has shown some signs of liking Wil such as getting mad when he dismissed them being on a date and some other things. I?m not too sure on what the other story in this show will be with the other pair of people but hopefully there will be romance there too.
